A Lasting Legacy

You can help us build the National Foundation by leaving a bequest in your will, by buying a National House brick, or simply by making a donation.

Our Honours Wall on display of the ground floor of National House ensures we are able to recognise our major donors and supporters whose contributions have made our work possible. You can also receive exclusive benefits including invitations to Foundation events.

However you chose to support the National Foundation, your gift will leave a legacy which will endure well beyond the current political cycle.

Leaving a bequest

Including the National Foundation in your will when making a new will, adding to your existing one by making a codicil, or varying your family trust to include the Foundation as a beneficiary, will provide invaluable long term support.

Any amount, no matter how small or large, can be nominated, and you may wish to discuss with the Foundation Secretary supporting a specific activity, such as supporting greater opportunities for women, or developing promising young leaders.

The process is relatively simple and inexpensive and there are no longer any adverse tax or gift duty consequences in making your bequest. You should speak to your solicitor about the provision you wish to make for the Foundation.

Your deferred gift by way of a bequest will be a permanent legacy to the Party. You can find background information on bequests and template codicil wording by clicking the resources link below.
