Since our Party was formed in 1936, the National Party has always strived to campaign on the issues that really matter to everyday Kiwis, and make New Zealand one of the best places in the world to live.

We are extremely proud of our people, our values, and our track record of perseverance to get the job done. Past generations worked hard to give us the opportunities they didn’t have, and its only right that we do the same.

Politics thrives when the best ideas win the debate, and our Party will continue to work hard every day to build a New Zealand that is an even better place for our children and grandchildren to grow up in.

The National Foundation will help protect the long-term finances of the National Party and, in so doing, help preserve strong, centre-right values for generations to come by ensuring those values can always be presented to New Zealanders at future general elections.
