The National Foundation is independently managed by a Trust with five trustees who are responsible for managing and investing the fund. While it is an integral part of the National Party's future, the Foundation will not be involved in any National Party policy determination or the organisation, structure, or day-to-day running of the Party's operations.
Peter Goodfellow is the President of the National Party and chairs the National Foundation Trust. As well as a successful business background, Peter's involvement with the Party spans more than 30 years.
Sir Don McKinnon
Formerly Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Sir Don also served as Secretary General of the Commonwealth.
Judy Kirk, ONZM, served as National Party President for seven years and currently chairs the New Zealand Lotteries Board. In 2011, she became an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to the community.
Roger Bridge is a current National Party Board Member and Regional Chair. Through many years in business, politics, and community governance, Roger brings strong governance experience to the Foundation.
Peter Kiely is a respected legal professional and company director, as well as Chairman of National's Rules Committee and advisor to the National Party on legal and electoral issues.
